“Sarah, I apologise, but this is one of my earliest memories of you. Grandma and I were in the small kitchen before the extension was finished. You came in holding half a slug and said, 'Grandma, I don't like the taste of this.' You were around three years old, and Grandma's facial expression was priceless.”

“We made up a song and performed for Grandma and Aunty Helen... and may be the cousins. I can still remember the tune... and some of the lyrics ~I was walking down the road one day... and I saw you alone....~”

“So, let me see if I've got this right... I think it was Christmas of 1984 and we were all at Shirley and Bill's house, am I right so far? And, I remember we had a great time there, especially because we did a performance of 'Only You' by The Flying Pickets.”
